Another must do in Bolivia.
Before we went on this 4 days 4 wheels drive trip in the Salar de Uyuni, Caroline went for an horse back ridding tour in the amazing red canyons. Here is the story:
Just after crossing the Bolivian border, we went the 4 of us (Naoimh, my irish friend that we met in Salta and we travelled with her up to Peru, Lia, Nadine my German friends and me!) for a 5 hours horse back ridding tour. We had great fun.
The walk was beautiful and we only met a few people on the way. It was like being inside of a movie with cacti everywhere. Only the Indians were missing, maybe hidding behind the bushes…
All the surrounding mountains were of different shade of red yellow and grey.
My horse was very nice and fast and I had to fight with him in order to stay with the others! I did most of the walk by myself at the middle of the canyons!
We had 2 breaks to visit some canyon by foot. The end of the walk was walking inside of the river to go back to the ranch ( I loved it!)
Before getting back to our hostel, we found some puppies… I really wanted to take one with me in my bag…
