I have finally some time to write down as we currently flying to Bali in Indonesia for our first stop. We have just spent three great days in Melbourne to catch up with Jacques’ parents and their friends Anne-Marie and Michel.
We went through the famous Queen victoria market, ride the free old school tramway and visit the city centre. A few pics below.
We have been warmly welcomed from the aiport at 8am (Thanks Anne-Marie) and have been driven around the city and Philips Bay (Thanks Michel and Anne-Marie).
I was delighted to meet with my cousin Benjamin and his little family for the first time:
We finally left Melbourne with a massive stock of drugs for our 11 months world tour trip (Thank you Pascale and Jean-Jacques)
Thanks to Caroline and Ariane to pick us up from the Sydney airport on Sunday the day before our departue from Australia.
Another thanks to all our friends who come over to Manly to share a BBQ at shelly beach and a brasilian restaurant.
Finally, a big thank you to all of you, familly and friends, for your support. (Ok, this is the last thanks…)
The departure was tough especially for myself due to my good organisation skills. I was decided to leave only with a 10kg backpack but ended up with 16kg.. (no comments…) I will have a few months to sort out what I really need to will give it back to my mum when she comes over to Burma to see us in February.
The excitation, the exhaustion and some stress before the departure gave me some mixed feelings. I won’t complain as I start to realize I will be on holiday over 11 months…Maybe we should complain Jacques who will have to endure me during 11 months.
Kiss to everyone,
Caroline et Jacques
